The Bacon Creek Historical Society was established as a 501C3 in October 2005 by concerned local citizens in and around the Northern Hart County and Bacon Creek area. Our mission is to rediscover the rich heritage that exists throughout these communities, to preserve that heritage, to showcase that heritage in order to to encourage a greater awareness of and pride in that heritage on the part of the people of the area, to bring about greater civic involvement, and to produce greater tourism and economic growth.
